ELIGIBILITY

Join us at the Council on Foundations 2010 Fall Conference for Community Foundations

You are encouraged to attend
The Council's fall conference is all about building community! Anchored by more than 700 vibrant community foundations, this conference welcomes everyone engaged in place-based philanthropy that seeks to build community. We welcome organizations engaged in community philanthropy, including CEOs, trustees, and staff of U.S.-based and non-U.S.-based private, operating, and community foundations; public grantmaking charities; corporate funders (foundations and/or giving programs); and tribal philanthropies. We also welcome giving circles, donor advised funds, individual philanthropists, philanthropic advisers, and those engaged in philanthropy as consultants, legal counsel, or at banks and trust companies. We welcome affinity groups, regional associations, and other organizations serving philanthropy. We welcome all who have a desire for learning and connecting with others who make grants.

Students
Full-time students at and recent graduates (within the past year) from accredited education institutions are encouraged to attend at the special guest/student rate. If students are affiliated with an organization that is a Council member, they should register through that organization; otherwise, students should fill out the conference registration form.

Save money by joining the Council
If your philanthropic entity applies for Council membership—and the application is approved by December 31, 2010—the Council will apply a credit to the institution's dues payment that equals the difference between the member and nonmember rate for attending this conference. Join the Council.

No-solicitation policy
Council events are not opportunities for solicitation of any kind, including asking for business, fund management, or grants. All types of solicitation are strictly prohibited. Individuals reported making a solicitation will be asked to leave the conference and escorted off the site.
