The Topeka Community Foundation began impact investing as a tool to create sustainable and transformational change in their community.
From multi-generational care facilities to affordable housing, donors' dollars are put to work investing in projects that address some of the most complex challenges in the region.

Recently, an impact investment culminated in the ribbon cutting of the North Vista Apartments. Co-owners Dina and Reden Jalosjos have a gift for working with residents who need a fresh start. Their North Vista Apartments feature 24 brand-new studio units designed to decrease common barriers to housing, such as background checks, long-term leases, and varying utility costs. With one rate inclusive of utilities, month-to-month leases, and supportive management, our neighbors are finding the stability they need for a new beginning. Check out the full story.
