Side Reception Request
The Council on Foundations welcomes members of our community attending Leading Locally 2025 to host gatherings that will support our goals of engaging our conference participants in opportunities to connect and network with each other in ways that enhance collaboration.
Your organization can gather people together on June 10 between 4:30 and 6:00 PM. During this time, multiple receptions will be hosted adjacent to the Council’s Welcome Reception. Registered conference attendees can join your reception, while also connecting with others at the Council’s main welcome reception, all within the conference hotel. While conference attendees may gather food and beverages from the Council’s reception, you are welcome to provide additional food and beverage at your expense.
Requests are limited to one per organization and should be completed by May 6. As the host of a side reception at Leading Locally 2025 you and your organization must complete the Council’s side reception request form.
In addition, you must:
- Be registered to attend Leading Locally 2025 with the capacity to develop and lead the gathering you propose.
- Bear the cost of audio-visual needs and food/beverage (if applicable) working directly with the hotel for these arrangements
- If desired, provide signage or other materials for attendees (see below regarding room set-up)
Please note that all events must follow the guidelines set for conference participation.
The Council will:
- Provide space for the side reception (rooms will hold up to 150 people)
- Promote side receptions conference agenda and app, provided the request is received by May 6.
- Provide a table to support registration and/or other materials if requested
Please note: the Council will not share contact information of Leading Locally registrants with side reception planners.
Side reception requests will be approved on a rolling basis. Capacity is limited (only 4 reception spaces are available). Requests received after May 6 will not be included in conference marketing.
