Leadership Sponsor Opportunities

Leading experts, thought leaders, and researchers in the field will deliver inspiring sessions, including some between speakers who see the same issue very differently. These captivating plenaries will dive into what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what’s next. The four plenary themes include:

  1. Pluralism, Common Ground, Bridging, and Racial Equity
  2. Conflict Transformation
  3. Democracy, Combatting Toxic Polarization, and Civic Renewal
  4. Storytelling and Active Listening

This opportunity also includes two-minute welcome remarks, if of interest to the sponsor.

The night before our immersive learning experience begins, we’re hosting a warm-up event off-site where participants will have the opportunity to meet fellow attendees, including the small group who will accompany them in their learning journey over the next three days. Help create a relaxing and fun atmosphere where trust can be built, and friendships can begin. This opportunity includes two-minute remarks, if of interest to the sponsor, and prominent signage in the event space.

Welcome attendees as Co-Host of the People’s Supper where all are invited to gather as we build connection among peers of different identities and perspectives. Since 2017, this movement has brought more than 10,000 people together around dinner tables in over 100 cities and towns nationwide, in partnership with dozens of local government and civic groups, faith-based organizations and communities, colleges and universities, and workplaces. This opportunity includes two-minute remarks, if of interest to the sponsor, and prominent signage in the event space.

Bridging Sponsor Opportunities

As Building Together comes to a close on Thursday afternoon, attendees will visit sites around Chicago to engage with the local community. The site visits will resonate with the theme of bridging differences, applying the learnings from the immersive training in a real-world setting.

Help participants center their focus and make space for their wellbeing while they’re out of the office by supporting mental and physical wellness activities each morning of the event. This includes recognition on prominent signage at the wellness activities.

Enhance attendee experience by supporting a robust event app that facilitates discussion and features all event sessions, speakers, sponsors, attendees, and much more. This includes an opportunity for recognition on signage at each of the four registration kiosks where attendees will be directed upon arrival.

Show your commitment to our inclusive conference experience by sponsoring our accessibility options such as closed captioning and American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters. This includes a special acknowledgment in our Accessibility Guide.

Collaboration Sponsor Opportunities

Attendees will come together to connect and unwind on Wednesday evening during a postdinner, participatory musical performance that will entertain and inspire. This is your chance to partner with Council staff to get creative, provide cultural enrichment, and bring the fun! We can tap into the local Chicago community, or perhaps you have an inspiring nonprofit partner that could take center stage. This includes recognition on prominent signage at the event.

We strive to keep the cost of event registrations accessible but realize that it is not feasible for everyone. Support participation for leaders who may not otherwise be able to attend due to limited professional development budgets. In partnership with our sponsors, the Council is committed to covering the cost of at least 10% of attendee registrations through scholarships.

Customize an Option

We know that support from partners can come in many forms. If you’d like to discuss an alternative option than what is included in the sponsorship guide, please contact Annie Tolbert at annie.tolbert@cof.org. We value your feedback!
