LEADING SPONSOR OPPORTUNITIES

Leading experts, thought leaders, and researchers in the field will deliver inspiring sessions, including some between speakers who see the same issue very differently. These captivating plenaries will dive into what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what’s next. This opportunity also includes two-minute welcome remarks, if of interest to the partner.

Welcome attendees for a People’s Supper experience hosted by Trust Labs where we'll have the chance to reflect together on the themes of the gathering, and the stories and experiences we each bring into the room (and with any luck, talk about something more interesting than the weather). Since 2017, more than 20,000 people have sat down for People's Suppers in over 100 cities and towns nationwide, in partnership with dozens of local government and civic groups, faith-based organizations and communities, colleges and universities, workplaces, and more. This opportunity includes two-minute remarks, if of interest to the sponsor, and recognition on prominent signage in the event space.

Champion a signature element of Building Together, when participants meet up with their Practice Team over meals to reflect on what they are learning, practice new skills, and consider take-home strategies relevant to their work. Teams are constructed with diversity in mind, so teammates will come from different roles and regions and have varied perspectives. As practice teams converge for dedicated time each day, they will be looking for signage directing them to their assigned tables, prominently featuring your logo as a nod to your support.

BRIDGING SPONSOR OPPORTUNITIES

Join Council CEO Kathleen Enright and Council board members for a relaxed evening of connection with other foundation leaders on the evening of Wednesday, May 6. This opportunity includes prominent signage and three reception invitations.

Before our immersive learning experience begins Tuesday morning, we’re providing afternoon and evening activities on Monday, including a happy hour, that will give attendees an opportunity to connect informally when they arrive in Seattle. Help create a relaxing and fun atmosphere where trust can be built, and friendships can begin. This includes recognition as we promote the event to attendees and recognition on prominent signage in the event space.

Help participants center their focus and make space for their wellbeing while they’re out of the office by supporting mental and physical wellness activities throughout the event including meditation, reflective journaling, breathwork, somatic work and unprogrammed open space. This includes recognition on prominent signage at the wellness activities.

“What’s the Wi-Fi password?” is one of the most familiar refrains heard at any convening. Help our participants stay connected and the password can include your organization’s name. Enhance attendee experience by supporting a robust event app that facilitates discussion and features all event sessions, speakers, sponsors, attendees, and much more. Your support will be recognized anywhere the wi-fi information is displayed, including the workbook, the event app, and back of attendee badges.

Show your commitment to our inclusive conference experience by sponsoring our accessibility options such as closed captioning and American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters. This includes a special acknowledgment in our accessibility guide.

COLLABORATING SPONSOR OPPORTUNITIES

The Council recognizes the incredible power of the arts to inspire and foster change. Local performance and visual artists will be highlighted throughout Building Together, bringing connection to artists and cultural experiences. This includes recognition on prominent signage at the event.

We strive to keep the cost of event registrations accessible but realize that it is not feasible for everyone. Support participation for leaders who may not otherwise be able to attend due to limited professional development budgets. In partnership with our sponsors, the Council is committed to supporting the cost of attendee registrations through scholarships. Each Scholarship Sponsor will cover registration for five recipients.

Capture the attention of event attendees with a two-minute promotional video, provided by you, introducing your mission and/or services to the Building Together audience immediately before a plenary session begins, when folks have found their seats and the room is buzzing with energy. Seize the opportunity to captivate attendees by highlighting how your organization supports the philanthropic sector in a standout moment as attendees gather around the main stage.

Note: video content is subject to Council review.

SUPPORTING SPONSOR OPPORTUNITIES

The Council will include your logo and a brief message in one of the “Know Before You Go” emails leading up to Building Together as folks prepare to gather in Seattle. The content will reach event registrants who opt-in to receiving Council emails. Historically, the “Know Before You Go” emails have received top performing click-rates with attendees due to the relevance and timing.

Note: message up to 400 characters and one hyperlink and subject to Council review. All materials must be received by March 2026.

When attendees need to check the schedule, search the directory, join the group chat, look up hotel information, or a number of other reasons – they check the Building Together app! Let your organization shine in the limelight through a banner ad that folks can’t miss when they utilize the conference app. You can direct attendees to an external link or mobile app page to increase traffic to your resources and explore new partnerships.

Feature your organization on a full or half page promotion in the full color, 6x9 workbooks gifted to attendees when they arrive at Building Together. Throughout the event, attendees will use their workbooks to journal reflections, capture notes, and jot down questions, serving as a keepsake folks can reference for inspiration long after Building Together has concluded.

Note: All ad content must be submitted by the workbook print deadline in March 2026.

As attendees enjoy a break from their computer screens, they will need a pen to accompany their Building Together workbooks that they’ll use throughout the week. Let us feature the name of your organization on the pens distributed to all attendees upon arrival, highlighting your event sponsorship and introducing your services to new faces.

Note: sponsor to provide the pens (approx. 450) aligning with their brand aesthetic.

Customize an Option

We know that support from partners can come in many forms. If you’d like to discuss an alternative option than what is included in the sponsorship guide, please contact Annie Tolbert at annie.tolbert@cof.org. We value your feedback!
