Lee Christian Parker

Lee Christian Parker is the Senior Director, Philanthropic Services for The Community Foundation for the National Capital Region.  Lee leads the coordination, planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the Foundation’s philanthropic advisory services arm that offers a platform of services to help individuals, families, foundations, and corporations accomplish their philanthropic goals.  Prior to assuming this role, Lee served as the Director, Education Initiatives leading the development of the education arm of the Foundation’s community leadership portfolio.  Lee serves in numerous leadership capacities: Board of Directors, Grantmakers for Education, Founder and Member of the Black Philanthropic Alliance, and Member of the Education Advisory Committee, Congresswoman Donna Edwards.  Lee earned a bachelor degree in communications from the University of Maryland.
