Drawing on real experience — including the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country following the July 2025 Kerr County floods, along with lessons from Uvalde, the Maine and California wildfires, and the Baltimore bridge collapse — facilitators will walk through a practical framework for building public understanding before a crisis, managing communications in the moment, aligning your internal team, and responding strategically to scrutiny from media. The session is built for community foundation CEOs and executive directors, communications staff, and program and community initiatives leaders, and includes message maps, decision frameworks, and a member toolkit you can put to use right away.
