GuideStar and Council on Foundations Announce Partnership
Partners will share information, provide insight into trends affecting the charitable sector, and build on each other’s strengths to benefit respective audiences and sector as a whole.
GuideStar and the Council on Foundations are pleased to announce a new partnership to deepen and strengthen knowledge about the nonprofit sector.
“With this partnership, GuideStar and the Council on Foundations are going beyond mere collaboration toward real partnership for the advancement of the philanthropic field,” noted the president and CEO of the Council on Foundations Vikki Spruill. “Our organizations are committing to build on our unique resources and knowledge in order to advance philanthropy in the United States and globally. As the world’s largest source of information on nonprofits, GuideStar has a unique vantage point from which to inform the work of foundations.”
- The two organizations are partnering in several important ways, including:
- developing thought leadership on strengthening the charitable sector and best practices;
- co-hosting virtual conferences on sector trends and other topics of use to foundations and nonprofits;
- information sharing around crucial public policy developments; and
- the development of joint research projects.
