Jennifer Chavez Rubio

Jennifer Chavez Rubio is Corporate Community Relations Director at Lockheed Martin where she directs social impact programs and initiatives for 105,000 employees globally. Previously, she was Senior Director of Global Engagement at Medtronic. Before returning to corporate philanthropy, Jennifer served for more than 6 years as a political appointee as part of President Obama's administration at the Peace Corps. Jennifer has also worked at Silicon Valley Community Foundation, Genentech. and the San Francisco Foundation. Jennifer earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from Stanford University and a master's degree in Nonprofit Management from Regis University where she was also a Colorado Trust Fellow. Jennifer sits on the corporate advisory committee of the Council on Foundations, the advisory board of the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation Corporate Citizenship Center, and on the board of Hispanics in Philanthropy.
