Lily has been with ICNL since 2018. She works closely with the Africa regional team to support partners to draft, analyze, and navigate laws and policies related to the non-profit sector. Lily also manages the Country Notes project in collaboration with the Council on Foundations, to facilitate U.S. funders to make grants globally. Prior to joining ICNL, Lily was a legal fellow at a Japanese human rights NGO, researching the impact of digital technology on the realization of human rights. During law school, Lily worked with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Budapest and D.C., and the South African Human Rights Commission in Johannesburg.
