Deborah Doane is a partner at Rights CoLab where she convenes the ‘Ringo Project‘ – reimagining the INGO. She also works as a consultant building on twenty-five years of experience in civil society as a leader and activist covering human rights, development, environment and economic justice issues. Previous roles have included as Director of the Funders’ Initiative for Civil Society; Director of the World Development Movement and founder/Director of CORE (the Corporate Responsibility Coalition). She is the Chair of Finance Uncovered and a trustee of the Sheila McKechnie Foundation. She writes and speaks regularly on civil society, including for the Guardian.
