Carrie Pickett-Erway

Carrie has been with the Kalamazoo Community Foundation for 20 years, the last eight as president and CEO. Prior to that, she served as vice president of Community Investment, the area involved with grants and initiatives.

Carrie is a life-long resident of greater Kalamazoo and earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Social Work from WMU. In 2013 she was inducted into the WMU School of Social Work’s Outstanding Alumni Academy.

Locally, her current board service includes the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine and Cradle Kalamazoo, while nationally she serves on Grantmakers for Effective Organizations and CFLeads.
