Overview

Heavy rains have swept Guadeloupe, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, leading to massive flooding, damage and destruction. Hurricane Fiona(link is external), a Category 3 hurricane with sustained winds of more than 111 mph, is continuing to wreak havoc throughout the Caribbean. Nearly 3.1 million residents in Puerto Rico are left without power and more than 1 million are without running water in the Dominican Republic. There have been four confirmed deaths and the hurricane continues to intensify with life-threatening flooding.

As updates about the impact of this flood are known and opportunities to support long-term recovery become available, this page will be regularly updated with more resources and information.
