Nancy Hales

Nancy Hales currently serves as Executive Director for HDR’s corporate foundation, a global engineering/architecture firm based in Nebraska. As its leader, she steers the charitable efforts for HDR’s 11,000 employee-owners, granting throughout the US, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom, with a focus on education, environmental stewardship and community health. Prior to that, she served for 15+ years as President/CEO for the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington (CFSWW), shaping local giving culture to include community well-being and equity.  She continues to speak on behalf of the non-profit sector, and community giving.

Nancy has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and an Master of Public Administration, with a concentration non-profit management.
