Shelly O’Quinn

Shelly O’Quinn is the CEO of Innovia Foundation, which serves 10 counties in Eastern Washington, 10 counties in North Idaho and six tribes. As a former Spokane County Commissioner with a passion to bring people together for meaningful civic dialogue, Shelly has created an organizational culture and climate that elevates all voices. Her reputation as a team builder and change agent has brought about systemic positive transformation within the organization in just a few short years.
Known in the region for her servant leadership approach and bridging divides, Shelly has served on multiple boards of directors and is sought after as a well-known speaker on issues related to women in leadership roles, organizational transformation, cross-sector collaboration, diversity, equity and inclusion, and education as an economic driver. In the nearly six years since Shelly joined the Foundation, Innovia has become recognized as a trusted community leader and convener throughout our region.
Previously, Shelly worked in the government, not-for-profit and the private sector. She holds an MBA from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and a BA from Whitworth University.
She enjoys quality time with her sons, Ryland and Iain, especially outdoors among the beautiful trails and lakes in the region.
