Maria Torres is a community impact officer at Rose Community Foundation. Torres joined the Foundation in 2017, initially supporting the former program areas of education and aging, then managing the portfolio focused on child and family development.
Torres moved to Colorado from San Luis Potosi, Mexico to pursue her master’s degree in international development from the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies. She has over ten years of non-profit and philanthropy experience having worked for organizations both locally and internationally. She currently also serves as the vice-chair for ACCESO, the Spanish Language Advisory Board for the City of Denver Elections Division.
