Mandy Simon

Mandy Simon is the Head of Press and Social Media at the Ford Foundation. She oversees Ford’s institutional press and social media strategies and helps lead the foundation’s reputational risk and crisis communication work. Over her 20 year career, Mandy has created and led thoughtful communications strategies to protect civil liberties and human rights through her work at Amnesty International USA, the American Civil Liberties Union and American Constitution Society. Her portfolio has included work to end domestic and international rights violations around a wide range of issues, including national security, refugee rights, gender and identity rights, criminal justice, and reproductive rights.
