Ann McGlynn is the founder and executive director of Tapestry Farms, a nonprofit urban farm system that invests in refugees who live in the Quad Cities region of Iowa and Illinois. She grew up on a small family farm, then graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Iowa. Ann lives in Davenport with her family, which includes her husband, two college-age sons, and two cats.
