Alison Kolwaite

Alison is a champion of the social sector, supporting dynamic organizations to operate successfully, grow strategically, and deliver meaningful impact. With over 25 years of experience and expertise in external affairs, strategy development, governance, fundraising, and operational scaling, she has worked with regional, national, and international organizations addressing diverse issues. 

Alison currently serves as Chief Growth and Communications Officer for GlobalGiving, the preeminent platform and preferred partner for donors, corporations, and nonprofits to connect across the globe. She previously served as Chief Relationship Officer for Arabella Advisors, a professional services firm for the social sector. Prior to that she held leadership positions with the National Service Office for Nurse-Family Partnership and Child First, Trust for Public Land, and the Denver Public Schools Foundation. She also was a political appointee in the Office of Management and Budget in the Executive Office of President Clinton.

Alison is a member of Impact 100 Denver and the Empowerment Council for the Women’s Foundation of Colorado and volunteers with Invest in Kids, a Colorado nonprofit. She is based in Denver, CO.
