Elaine Mintz

Elaine is Vice President of Strategy & External Relations at Fairfield County's Community Foundation, leading advocacy, communications, community engagement, and strategic learning. She previously directed the Greater Danbury Nonprofit Resource Center and served as a research consultant for Connecticut’s Office of Policy & Management. Earlier in her career, she worked with the Connecticut General Assembly’s Appropriations Committee and served as an adjunct professor at Norwalk Community College. Deeply committed to community service, Elaine has held various leadership roles in philanthropy, education, local government, and nonprofit organizations. She recently chaired the board of the CT Council of Philanthropy and currently serves on the Norwalk River Valley Trail board. Elaine holds a master’s in public administration and a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Connecticut.
