Cali Brooks

As President and CEO of Adirondack Foundation, in Lake Placid, New York, Cali leads efforts to unite people and resources in a rural region undergoing rapid transformation. With an influx of new, often more affluent and culturally diverse residents, the community foundation is stewarding a vision to bridge divides and ensure that longtime residents and newcomers alike can thrive. Under Cali’s leadership, Adirondack Foundation has grown to more than $100 million in assets and has distributed over $80 million in grants and scholarships into the community. In 2024 the foundation was among the first recipients of a Civic Hub grant from the Trust for Civic Life. Cali serves on the North Country Regional Economic Development Council and the New York Federal Reserve Bank Community Advisory Council. She is a graduate of Evergreen State College and holds a master’s degree in International and Intercultural Management from The School for International Training.
