Chief Communications Officer
Jessica Ford is the Chief Communications Officer for Arkansas Community Foundation, a statewide Foundation with a 29-affiliate network. A native Arkansan, Ford holds a B.A. in Women’s Studies from the University of Wyoming. She has worked in the nonprofit sector since 2003. Prior to joining the Community Foundation staff, Ford spent more than 12 years at Heifer International. She piloted Heifer’s first “Women & Global Leadership Development Program” with a one-year assignment in South America and is an alumni of the Thunderbird School of Global Management’s “Emerging Leaders in the Social Sector” program. Ford leads the Community Foundation’s communications team and is responsible for its quarterly Engage Magazine, managing all media platforms, crisis communications, public relations and telling the Foundation’s stories of impact. She also provides support for all communication needs of the Foundation's affiliate network. Ford is a member of Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XXXVI, General Wesley Clarke’s Renew America Together Civil Leadership Cohort Four and serves on the Arkansas Chapter of PRSA Board of Directors.
