The Funders Network's GREEN 2025 Annual Meeting

We hope you'll join us in Savannah for a gathering of our funder-led working group focused on climate and environmental justice, community resiliency and supporting a vibrant green economy and workforce for all.

The Funders Network's GREEN 2025 Annual Meeting will be an intimate gathering of place-based, regional and national funders designed to foster candid conversations and in-depth learning about where philanthropic resources can have the greatest impact.

Our gathering will offer deep-dive breakout sessions, small-group discussions and thought-provoking speakers. We'll also hear directly from local leaders, advocates and allies working to build more sustainable, prosperous and just communities in the region.

All funders are welcome to join this gathering, regardless of whether you're engaged with the GREEN working group or are a member of TFN.

Given the intersecting impacts of the climate crisis and environmental injustice on the wellbeing of our communities —  especially those already marginalized and vulnerable — we hope this gathering offers a chance to spark new ideas and opportunities for collaboration beyond traditional funding silos.

Join us to learn more about:

  • Comunity-driven resilience efforts;
  • Workforce and the green economy;
  • Investing in narrative change;
  • Supporting community leadership and civic infrastructure; and
  • Defending federal funds already awarded to mobilize clean energy, greenhouse gas reduction and climate projects, and which are now under threat.

This gathering will create space for funders to share how they are adjusting strategies and approaches to their work in the face of a federal landscape that is increasingly hostile to climate and environmental justice work.
