Zeyba Rahman served as the director of the Doris Duke Foundation's Building Bridges Program for more than a decade. Widely recognized as a visionary, she joined the Foundation in 2013 and played a defining role in shaping its work to foster mutual understanding among diverse communities through the arts and media strategy. Her unwavering commitment to elevating U.S. Muslim storytelling has enabled the Foundation to contribute meaningfully to the cultural fabric of our nation. In her new capacity, Zeyba will continue to lead from within the field to support accurate, authentic storytelling for culture change. Earlier, Zeyba led internationally and nationally recognized platforms to build corss-community understanding and harmony as a creative producer/director including through her work at the Fes Fesitval of Wolrd Saced Music, Morocco and as creative consultant of Public Programs for The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Arab Lands, Turkey, Iran, Central Asia, and Later South Asia Galleries. She is a board director for Grantmakers in the Arts and has been twice honored by New York City's government as a global arts leader.
