Mimi Beringer

Before joining the Council, Mimi worked at the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines, where she supported donor services and fund administration on the Charitable Giving team. She holds degrees in Marketing and Music Business from Drake University. While in college, she spent two years at the Civic Music Association of Des Moines, focusing on operations and marketing. Mimi brings experience in nonprofit operations, donor support, and communications, with a strong interest in community-centered philanthropy and the systems that support it. 

Mimi plays the tuba and enjoys going to history museums.
