LGBTQ+ families live in joy, love, and freedom, even during a time when these basic rights are under threat. Let’s come together to celebrate the ways queer families already have community and solidarity, and discuss how we can strengthen them together.
Join the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation on Monday, June 16, from 1:30–2:30 pm ET for a live, interactive conversation celebrating LGBTQ+ family joy. The conversation will focus on how solidarity and collective care built by LGBTQ+ families can be a model for ALL families and communities. We’ll also explore what queer families in particular need to thrive, and what it means to show up for and with one another in this moment of uncertainty and possibility.
Krista Scott, senior program officer at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, will host the conversation. She will be joined by Finn Schubert, Transgender Strategy Center, and Sade Dozan, Borealis Philanthropy.
We will offer live interpretation from English to Spanish during the event, as well as CART captioning in English.
