Vice President of Social Impact
Olivia Jefferson serves as Vice President of Social Impact at Best Buy where she is responsible for developing, executing and enhancing Best Buy’s Social Impact strategy to align company objectives and the external environment. In this role, Olivia also serves as the Executive Director for the Best Buy Foundation, leading giving and ensuring sound governance and fiscal responsibility for the Foundation’s multimillion dollar annual grants programs and employee engagement.
Prior to Best Buy, Olivia was the Vice President of Philanthropic Programs at UnitedHealth Group, leading their largest philanthropic commitment - $100M to diversify the healthcare workforce by providing 10,000 scholarships to underrepresented future and current health professionals. While at UnitedHealth Group, Olivia also led the strategic oversight and execution of the Empowering Health local partnerships and grant program focused on expanding access to care and addressing social determinants of health for people who are uninsured and underserved along with the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation, and employee volunteerism programs. Olivia is driven by the possibility of creating a more equitable society.
