Election Protection Hub 2025 Q4 Funder Briefing: Social Media Toolkit for Philanthropy Partners

On Tuesday, October 15, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. ET, Public Rights Project will host a virtual funder briefing titled How You Can Protect Free and Fair Elections. This one-hour conversation will take place on Zoom and is open to donor advisors, philanthropic leaders, and funders committed to advancing civic infrastructure and democratic resilience at the local level.

Local election officials across the country are preparing to administer elections in the face of mounting threats — including disinformation, political interference, and direct intimidation. Despite their critical role in safeguarding the democratic process, these officials often operate without adequate institutional support or funding.

Public Rights Project’s Election Protection Hub is working to change that by providing state and local governments with legal, strategic, and communications support to ensure elections remain free, fair, and accessible.

This briefing will offer an inside look at the challenges on the ground, the solutions already being implemented, and the role the philanthropic sector can play in advancing this urgent work ahead of the 2026 election cycle.

Speakers will include:

  • Lisa Brown, Oakland County Clerk/Register of Deeds (MI)
  • Commissioner Lisa Deeley, Philadelphia City Commissioner (PA)
  • Mimi Marziani, PRP Board Member & Co-founder, Marziani, Stevens & Gonzalez PLLC (TX)
  • Michael Adame, Director, Election Protection Hub, PRP
