Kristen Cambell

Kristen Cambell is an advisor to the Council on Foundations. She runs her own consulting practice where she advises clients focused on social cohesion, civic engagement, and democracy, including the Democracy Futures Project at PACE, where she served as the organization's CEO from 2015 to 2025. Prior to that, Kristen served the National Conference on Citizenship as its Chief Program Officer and has held philanthropic roles at the Case Foundation and Points of Light. Kristen is an AmeriCorps Alum and serves as board president of Citizen University. She has held affiliations with several other national groups, including the working group of the Philanthropy Initiative at the Smithsonian Institution, and a next-generation fellowship with American Express and Independent Sector.
