Jason joined the Cleveland Foundation in 2017 where he works with individuals, families and nonprofit organizations to achieve their philanthropic goals. He is a certified 21/64 facilitator in family philanthropy and is an alumni of the 2025 Bridging Differences Leadership Cohort at the Council on Foundations.

For nearly 25 years, Jason has worked to improve the lives of greater Clevelanders as an educator, a fundraiser, and a volunteer. His career in philanthropy began as an intern with The George Gund Foundation and continued as a fundraiser for several Northeast Ohio nonprofits before joining the Philanthropy team at the Foundation.   

Jason volunteers with several organizations in his community, and he founded the very first Student Philanthropy Club at Lakewood High School. Jason lives in Lakewood with his wife and two children, and plays drums with The George Martins, a Cleveland-based Beatles cover band.
