Jia Chen

Jia is the Council's Associate of Legal Resources. She holds a B.A. in Legal Studies from UC Berkeley and is passionate about mission-driven work. Prior to joining the Council, Jia worked in grants management and behavioral health policy at a California-based behavioral health non-profit that advanced evidence-based treatment and recovery services. And, as a 1.5 generation immigrant who previously interned at a refugee legal aid organization, she is particularly passionate about immigration issues and expanding access to services for underserved communities.
