Shamsah Ebrahim

Shamsah Ebrahim brings 20 years of experience helping foundations, nonprofits, public institutions, and cross-sector collaboratives navigate complexity, strengthen their effectiveness, and achieve results. As both a consultant and in-house leader, she grounds her work in the conviction that authentic partnership and collective learning are essential for meaningful change.

Shamsah has lived and worked across North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa leading multi-stakeholder initiatives across philanthropy, higher education, international development, technology, and healthcare. She brings a global perspective and deep appreciation for the diverse individuals, communities, and organizations she has had the privilege of partnering with.

Shamsah earned her Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her bachelor's degree from Swarthmore College. She now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. In the early mornings or late afternoons, you are likely to find her by the water with sand between her toes.
