The Federal Reserve Banks of Philadelphia and Atlanta recently released research findings on how grant capital to support community and economic development is distributed across metropolitan areas in the U.S. The analysis finds that some metro areas received a substantially greater level of philanthropic support for community and economic development than did others during this period.
This event will provide foundation representatives a chance to learn from this research as well as hear insights from interviews with nonprofits regarding their perspectives of engaging with philanthropic institutions. After the research is presented, participants will join in a conversation about the role the philanthropic sector can play in enhancing a community’s ability to absorb capital.
