Director of Research, Advocacy, and Advisor Engagement

Alison is responsible for advancing the research and advocacy strands of MCF’s strategic approach to community impact. She also works closely with accountants, attorneys, financial planners, and other advisors to identify current and future gift options that may be beneficial to their clients, and develops advisor-focused resources and content.

Alison received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2005, her Masters in Tax Law from Northwestern University School of Law in 2006, and her Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation in 2023. She is a Fellow of the Wisconsin Law Foundation and the American Bar Foundation, and is on the boards of Downtown Madison, Inc., the Wisconsin Law Foundation, and the Wisconsin Trust Account Foundation.
