Britt Lake

At Feedback Labs, Britt leads a team working to support philanthropy and nonprofits to be more responsive to the people at the heart of their work. A founding member of Feedback Labs in 2014, Britt joined the organization as CEO in April 2019. Prior to this role, Britt was a member of the executive team at GlobalGiving, the world’s first and largest global crowdfunding community. During her 12 years at GlobalGiving, Britt helped grow the organization to raise close to half a billion dollars in support of thousands of community-led organizations in 170+ countries. 

Britt has also worked at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and with a variety of nonprofits throughout sub-Saharan Africa. Britt holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, where she was a Morehead-Cain Scholar, a Master’s in International Relations from the University of Cape Town (South Africa), and a Master’s in Public Affairs from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs.
