Christy Uchida

Christy Uchida is a highly skilled philanthropic leader.  Since arriving at The Brinson Foundation in 2012, Christy has worked to advance the Foundation’s support of education and scientific research and was promoted to President in 2020.  Before joining Brinson Christy served as a Community Investor in Global Corporate Citizenship for The Boeing Company.  She also led several arts nonprofits in Chicago culminating as Managing Director of the spectacle troupe Redmoon Theater.  An avid volunteer, Christy serves on numerous nonprofit boards and committees.  Christy holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS in Environmental Studies and Biology from Tufts University.
