Jessica Belsky

Jessica comes to the council with deep experience in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, she managed nonprofit communications and programs for Fidelity Charitable. Prior to that she directed marketing services at Silicon Valley Community Foundation. She has also held communications and editorial roles with YMCA of Silicon Valley, GreatNonprofits.org, Change.org and regional environmental organization Heal the Bay. She believes that storytelling is the key to engaging any audience and is committed to amplifying the work and stories of the sector. 

Jessica holds a BA in English from the University of Miami, a certificate in Marketing Strategy from Cornell University and a certificate in Advanced Project Management from Stanford University.

Acting on a life-long passion for nature and conservation, Jessica serves on the fundraising committee of her local land conservancy and can often be found spying on the flora and fauna in her woodland backyard. In her free time, she enjoys growing and arranging flowers, doing ballet, reading fiction, listening to live music and trying out local restaurants.
