Kristin Tracz

Kristin supports the Community Foundation Climate Collaborative (CFCC), a nonpartisan, nonpolitical membership network consisting of comamunity foundations from across the country that share a commitment to climate change mitigation, adaptation and alleviating poverty and inequity. CFCC has recruited 60+ members from 30+ states and Puerto Rico to date and continues to grow.  Kristin’s focus has been on supporting CFCC members to develop, finance and support clean energy projects that leverage incentives from the Inflation Reduction Act. Previously, Kristin served as a program officer and senior program officer for the Walton Family Foundation for eight years, managing the coastal restoration program in Louisiana and the Mississippi River initiative, which seeks to support healthy soils, clean water and a restored and resilient Mississippi River system. Prior to the Walton Family Foundation, Kristin was a program officer for the Blue Moon Fund, a private family foundation based in Charlottesville, and an energy policy specialist for the Mountain Association, a community development financial institution in Kentucky, working to support clean energy in the coalfields of Central Appalachia. Kristin has a master’s degree in environmental management from the Yale School of the Environment, and a bachelor's degree in political and social thought from the University of Virginia.  She lives in Washington, DC and New Orleans, LA.
