Lauren Thomas Priest

Program Officer
Lauren Thomas Priest (she/her/hers) serves as a program officer on the Community Impact Team. She leads strategies to reduce racial income and wealth gaps in metro Atlanta through the Foundation’s Income & Wealth systems work.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Lauren has lived in the Atlanta area with her three children for more than five years. She has twelve years of experience working within the nonprofit sector, including roles in development, direct service, outreach, and program management, and joined the Foundation because of its focus on making our region more equitable for all of its residents.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Miami University of Ohio, and a Master of Nonprofit Management from Regis University. Lauren was awarded a Northeast Ohio Top 25 Under 35 Movers and Shakers Award from The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club and a 30 Under 30 Nonprofit Leader Award from the Atlanta chapter of the Young Nonprofit Professional Network.
