Marie Cleaves Rothacker
Lancaster County Community Foundation
Donor Services Officer
Marie Cleaves Rothacker is passionate about connecting across differences. She does this through her work as a trained dancer and movement teacher along with her full-time position in Donor Services at the Lancaster County Community Foundation. Having navigated firsthand the many divides we experience in the U.S. as a daughter of a Honduran immigrant growing up in a small town, the content of the Bridging Differences Leadership cohort was not only refreshing, but immediately applicable. She had the opportunity to attend the Building Together conference in May of 2024 where she was a table facilitator. Particularly transformative was the deep commitment she saw among leaders to use philanthropy as a tool to build a more pluralistic society.
She holds a Master’s in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Notre Dame and is leaning into “good conflict.” Her husband, two young kids, and two dogs help her practice daily!
