Marie Lovejoy

Based in New Orleans, Marie is a Scheduler and Facilitator for StoryCorps' One Small Step. She matches participants interested in having conversations across difference, prepares candidates for their experience, and guides them through a recorded conversation grounded in curiosity and respect. Marie has worked extensively as a Media Artist with StoryCenter, facilitating workshops on personal narrative, teaching podcasting and recording oral histories. She was the Producer of the Antenna::Signals Podcast and collaborated on New Noise Theatre Company’s production of Jubilee, a synthesis of performance and facilitation. She is a member of Alternate ROOTS, supporting Southern artists in the creation of work grounded in community.
