Dr. Samantha Moore-Berg is an Assistant Professor of Psychology and director of the Peace and Intergroup Conflict Lab at the University of Utah. Previously, she was the Emile Bruneau Postdoctoral Researcher and Director of the Peace and Conflict Neuroscience Lab at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Moore-Berg studies the causes and consequences of intergroup conflict and develops interventions to promote peace. She often does this research by collaborating with practitioners to apply her findings to real-world settings. Her work has been published in prestigious journals, including Science and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and has been featured in notable media outlets, such as The NYTimes and NPR.
