Vivian Williams

Vivian Williams currently serves as Vice President of Strategy for the Scranton Area Foundation, where she translates the Foundations Strategic plan into actionable priorities by aligning grantmaking, donor engagement, and cross-sector initiatives, while serving as a strategic integrator who connects leadership, partners, and resources to drive measurable community impact and long-term systems change.

Since joining the Foundation in 2019 Vivian has helped develop initiatives that include NEPA Moves, a regional transportation collaborative, NEPA Home, focused on affordable and attainable housing and NEPA Gives, a regional giving movement that in four years raised just over $4.1 million for over 230 organizations.

Vivian holds an MBA in General Management from Marywood University in Scranton, PA and a B.A. in Communications and Nonprofit Management from Salem College located in Winston-Salem, NC.
