Yvette Kelly-Fields is a nonprofit and fund raising executive with 20 years of experience developing and improving program and fund development operations that produce sustainable agency income and program growth. As Executive Director of Wesley Center, she worked with a professional staff and committed board of directors to drive services and programming that worked to life families out of poverty through work, education and healthy living. The lives of residents living throughout Montgomery County, particularly in West Dayton, who experienced stiffling poverty, health issues and educational challenges, were the impacted and changed by the services. Kelly-Fields has moved onto her next opportunity to do similar work in higher education, as the Director of Corporate and Major Gifts at Central State University.
Prior to her current endeavors, she worked in the capacity of executive director for updayton, a young professional grassroots organization and director of development for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton. She holds the distinction of a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and a Masters in Philanthropy from the nationally recognized Indiana University Lilly School of Philanthropy. She is the mother of two adult children, Lyric and James and the wife of James Fields, III.
