This convening, co-hosted by The Annie E. Casey Foundation, the Council on Foundations and the Southeastern Council of Foundations, will bring together foundation leaders and stakeholders to continue exploring ways to create equitable opportunities for boys and men of color. We will take up one of the bold solutions outlined in the report A Time for Action: Mobilizing Philanthropic Support for Boys and Young Men of Color: to “acknowledge and foster accurate and holistic narratives for and about boys and young men of color.”

As a national media hub, Atlanta is the perfect place to host a discussion on changing narratives. We look forward to exploring how we can change the conversation and outcomes for boys and young men of color throughout our region.

For questions about this event or to RSVP, please contact Leah Austin at The Annie E. Casey Foundarion or Lorne Steedley at the Council on Foundations.
