There is no way to achieve the American dream without being connected to the Internet.

In August, 30 communities were selected to participate in ConnectHomeUSA, an important program working in partnership with your city’s leadership and housing authority to help some of your community’s most vulnerable populations bridge the digital divide. They join 28 pilot communities selected when it began as a program of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. ConnectHomeUSA expanding under the leadership of a national nonprofit organization, EveryoneOn, to 100 communities by 2020. This program will bring resources to your community from the private sector, federal government and local government.

Why does the Digital Divide matter?

The Problem

The Internet has transformed our world, yet 1 in 4 households are without home access. Disproportionately from low-income and minority communities, these populations remain isolated from our digital society.

The Solution

Public-private partnership to eliminate the digital divide by making affordable Internet, low-cost computers, and free digital literacy courses available to all unconnected U.S. residents.
