On June 3, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit ruled that the American Alliance for Equal Rights has standing to sue, that the Fearless grant program is likely to violate Section 1981, and that the Fearless Foundation grant program must remain halted under a preliminary injunction while the case proceeds in court.
This webinar gave an overview of the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decision and its implications. Panelists explained the ruling's specifics, discussed what it means in practice, and framed the case in the context of ongoing legal and policy issues. Registrants submitted questions in advance, which were addressed during a Q&A the webinar.
