Join us for a “Part Two” of our Donor Services Virtual Meet-Up to learn strategies from peers in navigating the intricacies of collaborating with Professional Advisors. Engage in small group peer discussions on critical topics such as outreach strategies, building relationships, and motivating investment advisors to refer their clients.

This discussion will focus on:

  • What are effective marketing or outreach strategies for fostering productive partnerships with financial advisors?
  • Does your community foundation offer a program for advisors to retain charitable assets under their management?  If so, what are the parameters for participation?
  • How can community foundations best serve as a resource for financial advisors to increase our outreach to potential donors?
  • What are the strategies to work with individual advisors as well as larger investment firms?
  • How do we communicate with donors to ensure they have accurate, timely information, while supporting the relationship of the advisors with their clients?

How do we work most effectively with advisors to ensure that the donors’ gifts are made accurately and on time to qualify them for tax benefits?

To learn more about how you can connect with peers in the field, we encourage you to join the Philanthropy Exchange, as a space to ask questions, provide feedback, and share resources with community foundation donor service professionals.
