Vice President
As vice president of corporate responsibility, Maeve leads a department of 14 professionals who facilitated over $31 million in grants to nonprofit organizations in 27 countries in 2013. Maeve is responsible for the strategic direction of SVCF’s corporate responsibility work and is a member of the community foundation’s leadership team.
Prior to joining SVCF in 2012, Maeve was a director at Changing Our World, a philanthropic consulting firm. She advised Fortune 500 companies on social impact strategies such as developing and managing signature programs, cause marketing campaigns, strategic partnerships, employee engagement programs and community grantmaking.
Before joining Changing Our World, Maeve was a senior manager at Walmart, where she managed the company’s $2 billion signature philanthropy campaign, including the management of a $20 million portfolio of grants focused on hunger relief. Maeve holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental analysis and policy from Boston University.
A native New Yorker, Maeve spends her free time exploring California. She also enjoys shopping for vintage clothes, cooking and attempting the latest fitness trends.
