Making Money, While Here for Good

Estate planning expert Susan Gary will present an educational seminar for professionals in the legal, tax, investment and financial planning disciplines. Gary's presentation will clarify the differences among impact investing options and address the evolution of the prudent investor standard, the fiduciary duties of trustees, and considerations for settlors and beneficiaries who want to invest for social good. The session will include discussion of the Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act (UPMIFA) and its effect on accounting for charitable funds. The presentation is aimed toward attorneys, accountants and other professional advisors who serve high-net-worth families.
